TRIBUTE TO *SHALOM HA’YONAH
1975-1999

 *Shalom Ha’Yonah was born in Germany in February 1975. We bought her
in 1978.
During quarantine in Holland, she had a filly, which we sold in Europe.
*Shalom Ha’Yonah’s sire Mehyar (Alaa El Din X Mohga) only
produced *Shalom Ha’Yonah (registered in Germany as Bint Mehyar). She was the
only straight Egyptian blue list foal. Mehyar died through a breeding injury
shortly after.
In 1978 we purchased *Shalom Ha’Yonah & *Shalom Ilanit (Shaker El
Masri X Bassima) and imported them
both to Canada in 1980.
We bred *Shalom Ha’Yonah to *Ibn Amoura ( Ibn Abla
X Amoura I ) and in 1982 she started her Canadian breeding career.
Over the past 21 years her production record reads quite impressive.

*Shalom Ha’Yonah (The Peace Dove) inspired us and gave the name and
logo to our farm.
We will always remember her and *Shalom Ha’Yonah lives on through her
many offsprings.

she rest in peace.
P.S. Her daughter Shalom Feyah+ just won Top Ten Champion Jumper at the
Canadian Arabian National Championship August 1999 in Regina, Saskatchewan with rider
Zipporah Wagschal against some of the top professionals from the USA. Followed
by champion Jumper in Region 13 in September 1999 and reserve champion Jumper
Region 14 in April 2000.
